This neat-looking, limited edition, full-color Martinique fantasy ten francs SPECIMEN note, based on the design of a real five franc note from this region, is one of the latest creations from the Reed Banknote Co., Sarasota! This is a piece of banknote art and not an actual banknote and measures approximately 5" x 3 1/2." It is graphic artist R. J. Reed's creation of what a 10 franc note from this series could have looked like had one been prepared, and is handsigned by the artist. This bill is part of a set of three different but similar-looking bills released by Reed Banknote (for French Guiana, Martinique, and Reunion) and printed only in a quantity of about 45 pieces of each type. Be one of the few lucky and astute collectors to obtain this handsome piece while it's available! The note is printed in color on both sides on an off-white paper and includes a hidden security feature, as well as being handsigned by the artist as stated above! Again, this is a piece of banknote art and not a genuine bill, despite it's realistic appearance. This listing is for the Martinique piece only.
