Description: Rare find on this 1940's Maruhon Ware Tomato Butter Dish. Seems a bit fragile. Not many have survived over the years.(80+years). Research indicates that this item is hand painted and comes from Japan. There is some ware showing on this item. I have been able to capture it in the photos. The bottom plate measures 6" and the Tomato measures 4" at the base and is aprox. 3" tall at the top stem.
