Up for sale today is a very scarce "Marvel Heroes" collectors' pack. Still factory sealed in a sturdy plastic shell designed for the pegboards. Circa 1998, judging by the contents. Mainly focused on the Silver Surfer! Sealed inside are uncirculated copies of: Silver Surfer: Parable - the '98 1st printing collected edition of the Stan Lee/ Moebius classic!Amazing Spider-Man # 430 - key issue featuring the Surfer and Carnage!Silver Surfer: Inner Demons - collecting DeMatteis and George Perez Surfer stories from #s 123, 125 & 126Wolverine # 1151 unopened pack of 1994 Marvel Fleer trading cards - this pack features Wolverine on the wrapper These should all be 1st Direct Sales printings. While uncirculated, we obviously can't give detailed notes aside from the Inner Demons copy looks to have notable rippling along the spine (not uncommon with the cheaper paper they used on that squarebound format). The shell is unopened, with no signs of tampering. Spots of shelf wear and scratches on it. Sturdier than many comic packs, this really served to preserve the books quite well! As a side note: we do sound a bit confident about the contents as this is but one of a small collection we recently acquired and we couldn't resist opening one!
