Mastercrafters Model 551 Swinging Playmates Clock Fully Functional EXCELLENT

Description: Wow what a find!! A Mastercrafters model 551 "Swinging Playmates" clock. I believe this is an earlier one is from the late 1950's. The clock is in fantastic shape, the case is nice and glossy and the area around the opening is still nice and white and the painted flowers are near perfect. The paint on the boy and girl are in very good shape. The background image is still in very good shape and the "grass" is still there. I have seen some where the grass is all gone. The light bulb inside is white - I do not know if this is the original bulb. The sticker on the back is original and in good condition and not peeling anywhere, just a few nicks here and there. The clock keeps good time and everything functions as it should. The "playmates" swing back and forth in an alternating movement. The light switch feels nice and tight and the original (I think) cord is plyable and not brittle. Excellent gently preowned condition - this was purchased by my dad in the 1960s and has belonged to him ever since - it spent most of its life on a shelf with other clocks. Measures approximately 11" x 7 1/2" wide and 4 3/4 deep My parents are life-long collectors and slowly beginning to sell their personal collections.
