These worksheets help build a child's speed in math and develop mental math skills. A student does timed math while the process is made fun. These drills are explained in the book. However, I can tell you that these math pages are great just for extra math work. A child that struggles with math should work math problems everyday to keep the skills sharp. Two of my children struggled with math and we had to continually do math problems to keep their mind working! They were not happy with mom but they got use to the idea! Math Sprints Workbook 2 would be a great summer workbook to keep math skills sharp. The book makes it very easy to select the area in math you are currently working on with you child. Math Sprints Workbook 2 has a few minor blemishes. Pictures 16-19 and 21 have arrows drawn pointing to the area of the blemish(s). If you look at these pictures, you will see little white spots. The white spots feel like they are in the printing of the cover. Pictures 22 and 23 are a glimpse of pages that explain the book. I could not get a complete picture of each page without pressing down on the binding, If you follow my eBay store, you will see that I purchased more than needed for any homeschooling family.
