Description: Great thing, in not great condition. It’s dirty, it’s got cracks, it’s missing one of three bun feet. It has a fantastic design though and is a rare example. Based on research it appears to be a Max Danhorn product. They were making a large number of ceramic centered trays with metal rims, galleries, and feet. That would make it German late 19th century or early 20th. Once it’s cleaned up it will look a lot better. You can also soak it in peroxide and that should make the cracks all but disappear. Then you are left with a bun foot to replace. A little play dough or clay rolled into a ball, baked, and painted silver with mail polish or a sharpie would work of you want to. Of course there are other ways to do this. Worth salvaging for sure! Many examples sell for $100-$150 in better condition. Ships ASAP! Thanks j but
