Description: German potpourri vase by Max Roesler ceramics, ca. 1894-1900. Square pedestal base with round vessel. Hand painted rose decoration. Applied, gold painted medallions. Gold trim on bottom and lip in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, abrasions or scratches. Design no. 5101 impressed on bottom, as well as impressed mark and printed mark. This is a very nice, usable display item. Measures 6” tall and 4 1/4” diameter at top. Square base measures 3”x3”.
