Description: Maxfield Parrish’s “Sunrise” - Original Framed 1933 Edison Mazda (current General Electric Co.) Cropped Calendar Top. The image measures 8 3/4”x 7”, outermost frame dimensions are 10 1/2”x 8 3/4”. Excellent condition and the color is stunning. The period Parrish frame is great. Parrish signature and date bottom left corner (photo #9). Originally painted in 1931. A copy of the reverse side (photos 10, 15 & 16) is included in the back pocket (photos 17-20). It is backed with 2-ply acid-free backing, new hardware and dustcover, August, 2023, and ready to hang. This is the 2nd last one (of 17) that Parrish did for Edison Mazda. Note: The first 12 photos are taken without glass to avoid reflection/glare issues, Photos 13 (slight angle) thru 17 after completion of project.
