Description: This lot includes a Meat Can Mess Kit made by E.A. Co. in 1945, along with 2 Aluminum Canteens, 1 Cup, and assorted pouches. The items in this collection are perfect for collectors of Militaria and fans of historical pieces from the WW II (1939-45) era, and later era(s).The kit and accessories are in decent working condition and will make a great addition to any collection. As evidenced in photos, bottom of meat can show scratches and dents and dings. Top appears to be in good condition with a previous owner's name written in marker. Canteen cup appears to be in good condition, I saw no markings indicating date or manufacturer. The left canteen in photo shows a ridge where to have to put together and is marked Taiwan. The right hand canteen in photo, shows no markings of manufacturer or date. This canteen has several dents as seen in photos. One canteen pouch is woodland camouflage with no markings, and the other pouch is olive drab with no markings. The larger pouch is stamped US, with no other noticeable markings. Overall the items are in good condition for their age and obvious previous use. There are initials of previous owner, written in black marker, they should clean off with relative ease Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
