It doesn't have to be all fancy. I opted to use a:Reinforced 5 Gal bucket and aPlastic Steam (sitz) SeatMany women place the plastic steam seat onto the bowl of the toilet. If you're not into chilling on the toilet, opt for the sturdy bucket. Just place the steam seat right on top of the bucket, as you would your toilet seat. 2) Prepare the herbal infusion ⦁ Place a ½ cup of your preferred steaming blend into your steam seat/ bowl, for a boost add a 1/4c apple cidar vinegar, and 2 TBSP Himalayan pink salt⦁ Bring 6 cups water to a boil in a pot, then turn off heat, and when boiling is completely simmered pour hot water into plastic seat/bowl at the steaming station, over your herbal, salt, vinegar concoction⦁ After you have poured your hot water over the herbs, allow the herbs to steep for 10 minutes or until warm enough for you to sit over the brew. Test the heat level with the palm hovered over steam before sitting over the steam. To do this, place your palm over the steam, it should feel pleasant, like a warm bath. If it’s not, please allow it to reach a good temperature. Once the temperature is satisfactory proceed with your steam. ⦁ Please have your steam seat already at its designated location so that you don’t have to transfer hot fluids across your home. 3) Perform the Yoni Steam ⦁ Disrobe from the waist down and wrap YOUR FAVORITE SUPER SOFT blanket or towel around your waist to contain the steam. Leave a space to release bits of steam that build up.⦁ Optional: Wear warm socks or slippers (folks get hot HOT, so be mindful of how you're feeling). It’s important to keep your feet warm, but if you’re the type to overheat, then do not cover your feet. =) ⦁ Steam your yoni for anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. I recommend 20 minutes or more. As long as you're comfortable while you’re seated. I comfortably do 30 minutes, and sometimes I stay longer when the heat still circulates.⦁ Stay hydrated. If you feel like you need it, have a drink of water before, during and after your steam. What to do while you steam? This is a great time to relax so you might consider these options. Wherever you place your steam seat, you can “dress up” the area with simple things like aromatherapy and some flowers in a pretty vase, or whatever else comes to your mind and heart, soul included 😊.
