On the underside of MEINL's Sensory Handpan are two soundholes that face outward in opposite directions to provide a completely immersive sound effect for both the player and listeners. Included with all Sensory Handpans are two removable sound tubes that allow you to alter the tonal qualities of the instrument. The longer tube is placed in the soundhole facing the lower pitches of the handpan, and the shorter tube faces the higher pitches.
