This extraordinary piece was part of an extensive art collection found in an estate in White Plains, NY. Included in this listing is the provenance behind this piece - it was first identified as described herein by Wilson Galleries of Santa Fe, NM. This provenance will be included in the sale - see the final photo in this listing. It is in remarkably great condition especially considering its age. His only notable damage is a chip toward the front of his right foot - see photo. In fact, it's in such great shape it could easily be included in a museum display.
