Description: This is one of my "Josefita" coins that I had as a kid in Texas. We used to spend these at the local store down the road for cold drinks and snacks. This coin is about 95% copper and 5% zinc or other metal, which gives that beautiful bronze gleam. I believe that these centavos have a beautiful design featuring the Mexican Coat of Arms and also the portrait of Joseta Ortiz de Dominguez that needs to be enjoyed with the full beauty of the glistening bronze.
