The little blue flowers are called forget-me-nots and were a popular symbolism theme in the 1800s.The micro mosaic is set in 800 silver (the silver standard of the time) and dates from the late 1800s Victorian era. The micro mosaic portion of the ring roughly measures 10 mm x 8 mm. There is minimal tesserae loss in the mosaic that I can detect (the tiny handmade glass tile pieces).
