Description: We are delighted to offer this rare 20th Century 1960s James Mont lacquered cast bronze ice bucket vessel, made in Taiwan. Heavily cast in the archaic style, the vessel is raised on two cylindrical legs and rests on a single back ledge. Cast on the sides with Taotie markings, the vessel features an angled spout opposite a D-shaped handle surmounted by an animal head. Its slightly waisted neck is decorated with Chinese characters. This unique piece measures approximately 10.5” high x 5” diameter x 7.5” deep, and is gently used. We appreciate your careful review of the photos as they tell so much more than we can articulate; and ask that you zoom in for a closer look at any and all condition issues. We certainly welcome questions and encourage you to ask before reaching a buying decision. Fixed rate or free shipping applies to US buyers only. As always, thank you for taking a moment to consider this set.
