Description: Antique original Diminutive bayonet about 11” long 8” blade unknown country of origin- But likely European very well made , full tang with walnut grip panels nickel plated steel The nickel finish shows great age and surface wear it has an exaggerated bird head pommel The blade was purposely made blunt possibly from a child’s military uniform set Or from a high ranking military officers desk set very sturdy - not a cheaply made toy it doesn’t comply to any official pattern that I know , but maybe somebody will recognize it it reminds me of the early patten Mauser bayonet models don’t pass it up ! you will probably never see another like it , at any price !
