The plates are approximately 9 1/8 inches in diameter and were manufactured in Germany in the mid to late 1800s during the Art Nouveau period. These antique plates are handmade and have an impressed MINTON backstamp, cypher representing 1852, and a hand-painted brown Number 3178 on the back.
