MM Kamenstein Bumble Bee Tea Kettle Teapot RARE Metal Spinning Bees, PARTS READ

Description: MM Kamenenstein World of Motion Bumble Bee Tea Kettle Perfect for a tea and bee lover! This vintage kettle was created so that when water boiled inside, five bees would circle around the cage on top. Please notes below regarding condition. Condition: External enamel is in fair condition with only minor blemishes from use, scuffs and scratches (see close-up photos). The bottom of the kettle appears orange in photos just from reflection of wood. Bee in front is missing wings. The body was created using two plastic halves and the two halves are loose, but the actual base of the bee is intact in kettle spout. The body could be glued back together. All five bees inside the cage are present and have their wings, but they have become detached from the spinning mechanism. The cage has some give, so it may be removable with the correct tools. There is probably a way with some glue, rubber, etc. that the bees could be reattached, at least for aesthetic purposes. The kettle has not been tested to see if the spinning mechanism still moves/spins. I did not want to risk damaging the bees inside the cage. The kettle spout is missing its black stopper, but that could be replaced with another black stopper if it seals well. Kettle mouth has a small amount of rust, and there is wear around the rim. The kettle is still sealed shut as intended by the manufacturer, thus why there are no images of inside the kettle and I cannot confirm condition. The kettle has been wiped down as best as possible, but some dust/dirt remains in crevices. Inside of the cage, I was able to clean somewhat with a cotton swab, but there is some dirt/dust still. If the cage can be removed, it would be much more cleanable then.
