No significant marks or stains - each volume is numbered in very light pencil on binding - see photo #1. There are two volumes with a sticker on back with a price label - photos #13,15. Appears previous owner kept excellent care otherwise, binding and integrity of books are in excellent condition and with covers absorbing shelf wear, hardcover books themselves are in excellent condition. Inside of books (first book has a small tear on inside of paper cover - see photo #18) are all unmarked and in excellent condition.Books are written in German
