We have been building Mopar muscle for over 40 years and provide Chrysler Mopar Dodge plymouth Engines from mild to wild and CID sizes ranging from 273 to 440 as well as all stroker sizes! This 440 build up is currently being built with a finish time of approximately 8/28/24 this window of build time allows you the customer to make changes if you want or need with us for a possible higher horsepower potential of this engine package. This opportunity allows you to purchase/upgrade items like higher ratio roller rockers, larger profile camshaft, different intake options like in stock ready to install inline dual quads or max wedge package as well as in stock 6 pack carb & intake packages needed or desired. Please note: this 475 hp engine crate package currently being offered come standard with the following bolt on parts: Stamped steel chrome valve covers, single or dual plane intake manifold, New chrome timing cover, recon water pump housing with new water pump & new harmonic balancer. Pictures provided also show an optional reproduction 440 smaller street port sized A&A Max wedge cross ram (in stock) with matching AVS-2 650 CFM Edelbrock carburetor package. Please note: should you want to make any changes to this package please contact us on or before 8/21/24 this allows us to the opportunity to either make changes or leave Package as is to complete the build by the promised completion date. 475 hp 440 crate motor build specs: 440 engine block was hot tanked, Magnafluxed, Blocks main cap saddles line honed, cylinder walls then bored & honed using Machine torque plates to ensure perfect bore roundness, blocks Cylinder Head decks were machined parallel, then we install new cam bearings. Block was outfitted with new oil gallery plugs, installed new deep freeze plugs then primed and painted using bare metal zinc chromate metal etch primer and painted. Recon oem 3.75 stroke crankshaft was measured and inspected for straitness, Magnafluxed then resurfaced 0.10/0.10 on rod and main journals then micro polished. Oem LY forged 6.76 long connecting rods were jet cleaned, magnafluxed, then resized with new ARP bolts. Piston and rings selected for build up: Keith black hypereutectic pump gas friendly 10 to 1 (kb236) 0.30 over pistons with matching Hastings plasma Molly rings gapped to piston manufacture’s gap recommendations. Engine bearings selected: king/engine tech rod in Mains installed to correct performance clearance specs. Complete reciprocated package was fully balanced within 2 grams. Cam and lifters selected: customer gets to choose from either cam profile: Summit racing 224/234 @50 488 lift on 112 lobe (this cam makes great horsepower and is perfect for daily drivers, hot rods with power curve from 1500 to 5500 RPM and will work with most stock oem performance Torque Converters and great in high-performance trucks, boats/marine applications or muscle car street strip driving, this smaller more drivable cam will make approximately 450 Hp) or they can choose a larger more aggressive 500+ hp hydraulic flat tappet cam: Should you choose the larger more aggressive: Mopar performance purple series 244/244 @0.50 duration 292 advertised duration 509 lift with 1.5 ratio on a 108 lobe with a approx power band of to 6000 rpm. This Cam will definitely raise your rpm and horsepower of the motor and it is recommended to use a 3000 stall or better torque converter with a 3.91 gear ratio or higher. Dynagear double roller timing chain in gear sets selected and installed with new cam hardware. New chrome timing cover selected and installed with new oil seal with recon water pump housing with new water pump. Oiling system selected: new M-63 meling oil pump with new matching oil pump pick up tube, new oil control windage tray and new oil pan installed. Cylinder Heads selected: Recon Mopar edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads with 2.14/1.81 stainless valves, multi angle performance valve grind, Viton valve seals, high tension valve springs, hardened machine locks, installed with felpro head gaskets. Valve train selected: OEM Mopar 440 non-adjustable rocker system (upgraded adjustable roller rockers in stock and available, call or text for pricing) were jet cleaned, inspected, lubed and installed and topped off with new chrome valve covers. Intake manifold selected: Edelbrock or Mopar performance four barrel dual or single plane intake manifold of your choice. Carburetor also available call for details, availability and pricing.
