Description: This 6 1/2" tall, Morgan, Wood & Co. covered jar has detail in the grape vines, ears and face are worth taking to time to look at in detail. There are no chips except on the lid. There are also no stains or scratches I could find on the outside. The whites of the eye are glaze, not damage. There is some crazing; mainly on the smoother parts. The lid was fine when my mother bought it in the 1950s at a church sale. Glaze didn't start flaking off until about 2010. Hopefully, you can get the lid repaired. The inside has some crazing and brown staining. The bottom is marked. Morgan, Wood & Co. was active from 1960 to 1870. Please examine the photos carefully.
