Description: Beautiful Vintage Mother of Pearl Inlay Octagon Box & Lid Oriental Floral Red Lacquered Wood containing 9 removable Sections. The age of this piece is unknown. It was purchased at an estate sale. The box measures approximately 12 inches across from side to side or 13 inches from point to point. It is approximately 2.50 inches tall with the lid on. There are no markings on the piece whatsoever. Look at the beautiful inlay and design on the lid! Good Preowned Condition - there are a few very minor signs of prior use such as rubs and scratches, but for a vintage piece such as this, it is n excellent condition. There are a few spots where the mother of pearl may be missing. In my opinion, the top needs a light cleaning, but I am not comfortable doing so as it is not in my level of expertise. The blemishes are hard to photograph as this is a highly reflective item. SEE PHOTOS for a better idea of condition.
