Mother-ease® Diaper Fabrics Stretchy Cotton Terry This terry is specially knit with only cotton touching your baby’s delicate skin, polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control. The result is a very reliable product. Our cotton terry is available in white, unbleached or colors. Organic Cotton Terry This knit terry is made from 100% organic cotton. Organic cotton is becoming increasingly popular as it is grown without the use of harmful chemicals that have an adverse effect on the environment. Ring spun, combed cotton yarn ensures a top quality grade of cotton. This fabric is only available in its natural unbleached finish. Stretchy Bamboo Terry This terry is specially knit with only bamboo* touching your baby’s delicate skin, polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control. Our bamboo terry is available in its natural unbleached finish. *Special Note from 9G Health Foods: For those of you who have purchased our Mother-Ease bamboo cloth diapers, you may have read the ingredients and wondered to yourself…"Where’s the bamboo?" That’s a great question. The bamboo fabric currently consist of 57% Rayon, 24% Cotton, and 19% Polyester. The bamboo is actually part of the manufacturing process for one of the fibers in the diaper, "Rayon". Rayon is a manufactured fiber where the pulp from the bamboo plant is put through a process which eventually produces a silk-like fiber. The fiber is then woven with cotton and attached to a polyester base (for strength). For your baby, what this means is that their skin only touches the Rayon/Cotton blend which is amazingly soft and still durable. Had it been only Rayon (remember, bamboo pulp turned into fiber), it would not be nearly as durable as a blend with cotton. Rayon can be made from a variety of fiber pulps, so the only way you’d know if it came from bamboo is to know your manufacturer. Hope that helps! Sandy's Diaper The Sandy’s cloth diapers come in two main sizes: small for 8-20 lbs, and large for 20-35 lbs. We also offer Newborn and Toddle-ease cloth diapers which offer a custom fit for newborns and a larger cloth diaper for toddlers. These cloth diapers are made from the same soft stretchy terry cloth using the same quality of workmanship as the One Size Diaper, but they have an extra layer of absorbent terry sewn to the inside of the diaper. The fit of this cloth diaper is slightly roomier. Elastic at the waist front and back as well as the leg openings, together with the snap closures at the sides create a clean pant-like look. A serged edge finishes the diaper. The large Sandy’s cloth diaper is one of the most absorbent cloth diapers ever, and holds 15 oz. When used together with the Sandy’s Diaper Liners it makes an extravagant nighttime cloth diaper. This diaper won the PTPA seal of approval for 2009! The Sandy's cloth diapers are available with Stretchy Cotton Terry, Colored Stretchy Cotton Terry, Organic Cotton Terry and Stretchy Bamboo Terry fabrics.
