Oblong large quarto, c 34 x 26cm. pp [4], 164. Plate 2286. Text in Italian and German. Contemporary worn paper covered boards, half leather, the spine worn, chipped at ends, corners are worn. Few early leaves corners sl worn but no loss. Boards are attached, Endpaper spotted, the leaves are generally v.clean.y margins sl thumbed. Undated but 1815. A Good copy of a very early edition of the vocal score of his opera Idomeneo, King of Crete, first performed in 1781. From the library of the distinguished music administrator George Lascelles, the 7th Earl of Harewood of Harewood House, first cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth, with his bookplate to the front pastedown.
