Woven Basket with Mug and Gift Bag Mother's Day ( Handmade)

Description: This is a fun gift for any occasion, including Mother's Day or Birthday--the mug says it all with "You are the Best". I took a plain, simple woven basket with hinged lid and sewed a liner for the inside and also the top inside to make it all more personal--it's a nice cream fabric with slate blue design. I just put small tabs of hot glue to fix the liner to the basket, so if you don't like it, then it is easy to pull out without damaging the basket. The basket is 9 inches high, 5 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches deep. It has a hinged lid and strong supportive handle. I made a small floral arrangement for the top in matching blue and cream with ribbon embellishment--please note that I did not glue this down on the basket but wove it through the reeds, so it can easily be pulled out if desired--the arrangement is glued together, but not to the basket. The mug is 4 1/4 inches high, microwave and dishwasher safe and holds 1 3/4 c to the rim--it's a generous size mug. It has floral design and the quote. I made the gift bag from the same fabric as I used for the liner--it measures 13 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches--it can hold the mug easily, but there's plenty of room for other items if you wanted to add to the basket.
