The seat is designed for the following Indian models: 14-21 Chief 14-22 Chieftain 14-22 Dark Horse 15-22 Roadmaster 16-22 Springfield The solo seat is 16.5" (42cm) wide at the front and fits perfectly with the silhouette of the motorcycle thanks to its distinctive shape. You almost feel like you're sitting in the motorcycle, which makes riding even more fun! In addition, the driver sits 1.5" (approx. 3.8cm) further back than with the standard seat. Of course, we also have a pillion seat pad for this seat, which you can find under number 863628 or 863653in our shop. The seat cover is made of high-quality, robust and easy-care vinyl and is hand-sewn; all seams are double-stitched. The base plate is made of 5mm thick fiberglass fabric which is coated with a gel to protect the frame and paint of the motorcycle. The base plates are adapted in-house directly to the respective vehicle, thereby achieving a high level of fit and manufacturing quality. The cover is welded to the foam and the base plate, which makes the bench very robust. The padding consists of closed-pore, solid foam developed in-house. The foam is produced in-house using a special process and then further processed using a press which also presses the pores out of the foam. This ensures that the seat cover retains its shape and fits perfectly over time. In addition, this process significantly extends the durability of the seat, as the cover cannot detach from the foam. The base plate and foam are individually adapted to each motorcycle model in an ergonomic shape. This is the secret of the high seating comfort of a MUSTANG seat. The final assembly of the seats is also done by hand directly in the MUSTANG factory.
