The plates were part of an everyday use set and while in perfect condition in that there are no chips, cracks, or crazing, the eating surface shows signs of wear (scratches). The dinner plates show the most wear and are best paired with another everyday set or for use by younger eaters or others who are not gentle. The salad plates and bread plates show the least amount of wear.
