Description: This is the perfect starter carving chisel set. The set contains 5 tools: shallow, regular and deep gouges, single bevel skew and straight V tool. Blades are made from hardened carbon tool steel and hardened to 55 HRc. Handles are European Beech with an octagonal cross section. Blades are 1-7/8” long by 1/2” wide, handles are 4-1/4” long by 7/8” wide and overall lengths are 6-1/8”. As with all fine carving tools, these will need final sharpening/honing to fully refine the edges before use.
