Users can also initiate a call to the Doorchime Box. Installation The Chime Door Box Phone can only be connected to an analog station port on an 8-Port Digital/2-Port Analog Station Card. Cannot be connected to the 8-Pt Analog Station Card. Compatibility NEC SL2100 The Chime Door Box Phone can only be connected to an analog station port on an 8-Port Digital/2-Port Analog Station Card. The maximum number of Door Phones depends on the availability of digital station ports. NEC DSX 40 The DSX-40 comes with 2 built-in Door Box ports and 2 relays. The relays provide a dry contact that can open a door or gate. You can use up to 2 Door Phones on the DSX-40 right out of the box. You can also expand the number of Door Phones by adding a Doorbox/Audio Interface Adapter. The maximum number of Door Phones depends on the availability of digital station ports.
