For almost 50 years, she is known for her VERY DETAILED work. “JOL PUMPKIN” – One of A Kind (OOAK) Artist’s Assemblage Necklace Jewelry of painted wood bead, glass beads, glass grim reaper, glass crystal roundels, brass wire, silver finished wire, brass clasp, and pewter bead caps. 28” long necklace; pendant portion from where it connects to the necklace down to the bottom of the 'grim reaper's' base is approx. 3”; JOL bead is approx. 1”, while the little grim reaper is approx. ¾”. A simple brass and silver wire-wrapped necklace with my hand-painted wood bead grinning JOL pumpkin pendant from which hangs an adorable small glass grim reaper figure!Faceted glass orange beads, gunmetal, old gold and larger white glass beads interspersed with clear crystal roundels. make up this lovely necklace--ending in a large easily manipulated c-spring clasp. Beautiful colors on this piece--much lovelier in person! Artist’s Note: “I may create jewelry in this genre from time to time, but will never be an exact replica since most of my components are one of a kind and are no longer available or really hard to come by. If possible, I try to use original vintage brass findings, stamping and such since the reproductions currently available are quite flimsy and details have been sacrificed due to mass production. I also use found items in glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic and some metals, items of jewelry--either in sterling silver or other metals--and use them into my creations.” This precious one-of-a-kind necklace has never been worn, very unique and much treasured, in excellent-great condition, that has been kept in my home (smoke-free and pet-free).
