Description: Finally, magazines are once again available for the Thompson Center Venture rifles! Our NT-Mags are a vertical feed box magazine design available in 5-round or 10-round capacities. Best of all, these mags are made in the USA! These NT-Mags are for Thompson Center Venture rifles chambered in .308-based cartridges (.243, 6.5 creedmoor, 7mm-08, and .308) and have a maximum overall cartridge length of 72.5mm or 2.85 inches.Far sturdier and more durable than the original 3-round mags, our NT-Mags for the TC Venture also feature an extended latch, so no more fumbling to remove a mag with cold fingers or while wearing gloves! The mag bodies are made from polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) thermoplastic with embedded carbon fiber for added strength and rigidity. These magazine bodies have excellent chemical and oil resistance and can resist temperatures up to 160 degrees! The exterior is textured to better match the finish and color on the TC Venture rifle. The follower and locking tab are a high-vis orange color while the dark gray release latch is a carbon fiber composite for strength and durability. When inserting these mags, angle them towards the rear so that the rear tab engages the slot in the magazine well first, then rock it forwards to engage the front latch (similar to an AK magazine). To remove them it’s the exact opposite order, press the latch at the front then rock the mag backwards slightly to disengage the rear tab from it’s slot and pull out the mag.
