It was typically found only by luck purchasing multiples of the unmarked single packs, which are no longer for sale. To get the one you wanted the most, you usually wound up with many unwanted duplicates. Now, all of the guessing is removed, and you can easily add it to your collection without searching! This figure was one of 4 in the series that were only available in the single packs and not sold in the 3-packs, so it is more rare than the other figures.
