Description: New Jersey November 20, 1757 £6 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20. The November 20, 1757 Seventh War Issue comprised five denominations between 6s and £6 amounting to £30,000. The notes retained legal tender status until November 1, 1773 and became invalid after May 1, 1774. This example is printed by James Parker. The £6 denomination features a rather nicely engraved oversize vignette of the royal coat of arms on the face and the predictable sage leaf nature print on the back. While having seen some circulation, this example is bright with clear red and black printed details and legible signatures. PCGS mentions edge restorations. Extremely rare with a printing of only 500 notes!!
