Volume IV is missing plate 59.The set has 383 plates, most in color and hundreds of illustrations. Marloth skimped on the binding, thus foxing and aging to the title pages and the end pages. Some toning on the in-between pages. The plates are mostly cream colored and a few have toning on the edges. All volumes are first edition as per year of publication 1913-1932. Books are in fair condition ex-library with wear to all the covers, volume one has webbing exposed on the edges of the heel and the binding is loose.A few color plates have detached and two have creasing on the edges.
