In pre-seasoned cast iron, it comes with a flanged lid, spiral carry handle and has a generous capacity. Ideal for slow cooking, the flanged lid holds hot coals for even cooking and the spiral handle allows comfortable lifting. The close fitting lid seals in the heat to keep the dish tender and moist. Before cooking, apply vegetable oil to the surface of your pan and pre-heat slowly A low to medium temperature setting is usually sufficient A vegetable oil coating is suitable for frying or searing Do not use a dishwasher, as this will strip the seasoning and cause rust.
