There were only 30 of these gold anniversary cars made and given to the LGB telegraph tour group in 1998 on the 30 year anniversary reunion. The unit includes the flat car, a Gold Gnomy engine and 2 Gold Passenger cars. This unit is signed by the 3 owners of LGB (see pictures) – Wolfgang, Johanness and Roelf. The car was given to one of the tour members and the box is labeled. If you are looking for a piece of LGB history, this is the car to get. The car never has been removed from the box, the flap was open for the brothers to sign the box. LGB went bankrupt and is no longer owned by the 3 brothers. Roelf died in a car accident about 3 years ago, and Wolfgang passed away 3 days ago. Johanness is the only brother that is alive today.
