Precise, 100 TPI adjustment screws with knobs including an integral hex hole allow smooth adjustment with increased sensitivity. Our zero-free play XY mechanism ensures accurate positioning and enhanced long-term stability, without relying on grease to take up the clearance between sliding elements, thereby reducing drift over both time and temperature. Independent locks for each axis of translation and rotation securely lock the mechanism, not just the actuator screws, maintaining stable optical alignment. Engaging or disengaging each lock has negligible influence on the other axes. This Five-axis XYZ θXθY model provides smooth XYZ translation plus true gimbaling about two orthogonal, coplanar axes. Five independent degrees of freedom allow you to accurately position an optic in any plane along any axis. The threaded central aperture accommodates optic retaining rings and a variety of optics holders for simple lenses, objective lenses, or other optics.
