The vintage engine is in very good condition for its age.It has been air tested (video).The heating element warms up. I used the included new old stock electric cord to test it.No rust/corrosion and very few nicks and scratches. Please note that, if an item has been "air tested", it might need a bit of adjustment to make it run on steam. Often the older gaskets have dried and need replacement. That's not something complicated but my hands are not steady enough any longer for precise jobs. Condition : This vintage Live Steam Engine is in pretty good condition for its age. That was 65 years ago. I have been collecting them for 25 years and I am now 74. None of my descendants is interested in the collection, so I decided that it was time to liquidate.
