Description: Original and nice WWI German 1898/05 Butcher Blade Bayonet and Scabbard for the GEW 98 Mauser Rifle. Bayonet was manufactured by Carl Eikhorn, Solingen and so marked on the ricasso. Also military proofed and dated 1916 on the spline. Blade has never been sharpened, cleaned nor polished, and is not nicked. Wooden handles are original to the bayonet and remain in nice condition. Bayonet catch is all intact and functions flawlessly. scabbard is original to the bayonet and remains in good shape. Overall a nice WWI German 98 Mauser Rifle bayonet. Free USPS Shipping.
