It's caused by the camera getting hot at some point like being stored in a case in a hot car. Pictures that are taken aren't affected. I'm offering this camera for less. This is a really compact camera, a zoom lens extends from the body when powered on. Has 16.0MP of resolution, and 6x optical zoom.
