Description: NIKON DS-Ri2 16.25MP FULL-FRAME F-MOUNT COLOR MICROSCOPE CAMERA & NIS-F SOFTWARE Description Nikon DS-Ri2 digital sight 16.25 megapixel full-frame sensor color microscope camera. The camera connects to a Windows 7/10/11 PC via USB3. It is operated from the included NIS-F software which is the free imaging package from Nikon. It offers basic image capture capability and live view display, including full screen. For more advanced functionality the NIS-BR or AR software packages can be purchased separately from Nikon. Those offer many more features such as HDR capture and Z-series on motorized microscopes. You can also use your existing NIS software with this camera as long as you have version 4.6 or newer. This camera is not supported on lower versions. We have included a couple of screenshots of the software interface with this camera attached on an SMZ1500(not included). Keep in mind that you would need intermediate adapters depending on the microscope you would be using. The DS-F2.5(not included) is the most popular one going from F-mount to 38mm and allowing for full sensor use. It can also attach to the front port of a TE series inverted microscopes.
