Description: You are bidding on (1) NOS EI 6GH8A electron tube, made in Yugoslavia in 1986. These tubes come from sealed bulk cases of 300; tubes are marked "6GH8A" and "Yugoslavia", note that EI is not marked on the tubes as these were bulk packed (as shown in the photo), intended to be private labeled. These are guaranteed to have been manufactured at the EI factory back in the 1980's prior to the war. EI tubes were/are highly regarded and these can be considered premium 6GH8A tubes for your audio gear (or for any type of gear for that matter). Gray plates, dual mica spacers, copper rods, and top mounted round halo getters. Tubes are in well preserved condition (no pin corrosion or other evidence of dubious storage conditions). Tubes will ship in generic individual tube boxes. Note your bid is for one tube, not the case. Tubes have been tested on a mutual conductance tester and are guaranteed good. All our tubes are tested and guaranteed by us; we only test tubes on one of our quality calibrated mutual conductance testers, NEVER on an emissions tester. The testers we use are Phil Frakes's Bitmatic computerized Cardmatic testers from Tubesontheweb, the specific models are Western Electric KS-15874-L2's which were made for Western Electric by Hickok; we currently own two of these testers. Our backup testers which we use occasionally are military TV-10D/U's. For specialized tests, we employ one of our VTV Dual Triode Characterizers (for preamp tubes) as well as a Maxi-Matcher (for power tube matching).
