Description: This is for a rare NOS blue W123 dashboard for all 240D, 300D, 300CD and 300TD. It has a single fine surface mark at the driver's left side as shown. You can only see it zoomed in. Ideally you should plan to have a "vinyl guy" refine it. These are the guys who can work magic on car interiors. In picture #12 you can see a slight irregularity along an inner edge when viewing the dash looking straight down. This dash has never seen daylight. It is likely the last blue W123 dash for sale in this condition in the world. The Mercedes Museum might have one but it's not for sale. This ships in what looks like an original crate. When these dashes were stocked at a dealership they were in a cardboard box. This dash installs exactly the same in all years. Only the dash attachments varied. This dash is a clean version so you can add your current features as needed. Earlier cars like the 240D had a small round opening to the left of the steering column for an idle control knob. Other years have an air vent control slider in the center while later cars just have a solid piece of trim in that spot. From 1982-1985 the only variant was a small round opening for the automatic climate control sensor. While aftermarket companies have tried to copy or refurb these dashes they never look right, the grain pattern doesn't match anything, the texture is off, they don't fit quite right and the instrument cluster doesn't fully seat. The instrument cluster sticking out slightly is one of the biggest complaints about the copies/refurbs. It can likely be done right but the people doing it are not willing to put in the work required. Returns on this item:1. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance.2.
