Description: Vintage stationery, gardener gift, gardening ephemera: Unused booklet of 12 postcards by well-known stationery producer Eaton's. The company address includes a zip code (implemented 1964) but not the Textron copyright (1967 onward), thus dating these to the mid-1960s. "How to Make Things Grow" features 3 designs that instruct the recipient in how to grow strawberries, a lemon tree, or herbs. The handwritten script is different for each design, making them appear to be personal note cards. The instructions are accompanied by a color drawing. Card dimensions = 4-7/8" x 7-7/8" All cards are clean, no marks or wear. The cover, which features a sunflower, has light edge wear, soiling, and photo-aging. It is separating from the cards, shown in photo 5, but they are still attached along the back. Stored in a smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled environment.
