Description: This auction is for one (1) NOS WWII B-7 COCKPIT EXTENSION LAMP ASSY Just taken from its pristine, sealed, 75+ year old carton, this multi-function Lamp was used as a trouble light in various positions - predominantly in gun turrets - on Flying Fortresses, Liberators, Marauders, Havocs, B-32 Dominators and even USN Aircraft such as PB4Y Privateers. The Head Assembly - which pulls out of the 3" X 3-1/2" X 4-1/4" Bakelite Base on a spring-loaded Cord extending a whopping 5 feet - has several Shutters; 2 on the end for blackout (red) & spot lighting and one on the side that rotates for blackout (red), opaque (reduced) and clear for flood. There's an encapsulated, radium-tipped toggle switch and the socket takes a #1004 12V bulb for you rat rodders who want to put some waay cool history in your ride.
