His research interests include fundamental and applied electrochemistry, electrosynthesis and materials characterization processes, electrodeposition, electrocrystallization of metals, conducting polymers, anodic films, nanomaterials, physicochemistry of solutions, and evaluation and protection against corrosion. Tu Le Manh is a professor and senior researcher at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Phenikaa University, Hanoi, Vietnam. His research is on crystallographic texture (X-ray macrotexture and EBSD microtexture), Barkhausen noise measurements, magnetic and mechanical anisotropy of polycrystalline materials, electronucleation and growth of metals from deep eutectic solvents, electrocatalysts for fuel cells, and lithium-ion battery recycling.
