Description: Small, hard to find, thick hardcover, 8.25" x 5.75" x 1.75", 424 very clean and unmarked pages, no folds, binding is very good. Text block edge is red all around. Very minor corner bumps and spine end wear. The exterior is scuffed, the boards are straight. Handful of illustrations and two very good engraved portraits of the author of the book as well as the founder of the Odd Fellows. Previous owner's signature on the first fly leaf. This is a great book about the Odd Fellows in general but really focuses in on the place of women, their degrees, and purpose and place in the Odd Fellows.
