Description: This is an original GM Holley 4 barrel carburetor. The numbers stamped into the choke tower are as follows: 3989021 List 4801 082. The 3989021 is the GM part number. The List 4801 is the Holley part number. The 082 is the date code which decodes as the second week of August, 1970. The Holley 4801 carburetor was installed by Chevrolet on the following applications: 1971 Corvettes and Camaro Z/28 models with infamous LT-1 350 engine backed by a manual transmission. This is a real deal factory high performance Holley 4 barrel carburetor with the production date code. This carburetor is in good original condition as shown. The factory plating is still in nice shape with the proper silver goldish sheen. The carb is complete less choke parts and all parts move freely. I see no breaks or repairs to this carb. The front metering block is stamped 6335 and the rear is 4519. I removed the bowls to show the internals are very clean. This carburetor is in very good survivor condition as is. It could be rebuilt and used on a nice original car as is or restored for your show stopper. This is a very nice survivor original GM Holley carburetor.
