Description: OLD ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE WARE by ADAMS - OLD NORTH CHURCH 4.875 inch Shallow Dish Color: Pink (but it looks red to me!) Item: CSTAF150 A wide-array of commemorative and souvenir dinnerware was produced under the Old English Staffordshire Ware brand. Pieces can be found with the marks of the potteries in the Staffordshire, England area. Adams, known for their high-quality dinnerware, was the manufacturer of this piece. According to the backstamp, this was imported for the Rawding Distributing Company of Winchester, Massachusetts. This piece has the border used on the Currier & Ives pattern, but I’m not certain the Old North Church depicted is from a Currier & Ives print. The glaze is beginning to craze near top of church spire and on the back. No chips or cracks. Please review all photos to best determine the condition and details of this piece.
