Description: Old Paris Hand Painted Floral Purple Scrollwork & Jewel Border Compote A Nice antique Old Paris / Vieux Paris porcelain compote. Decorated with hand painted pink, red, white, purple, and blue flowers. Has a purple border with lighter purple floral scrollwork overlay and hand painted yellow, green, and white painted jewel pattern. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked. Circa 1840s. Has some wear to the gilding, and some loss to the enamel, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide x 5 5/8 inches tall.
